● King Dutugemunu won two wars and dedicated his life to make a better country for the people. He also did a yeoman service to Buddhism.

● King died before complete the construction of Ruwanwelisaya Stupa.
It is believed that someone from Naga world came and killed the King.

● Some of acred relics associated with Lord Buddha were in Naga world and to put inside the Ruwanwelisaya, King had to give the order to bring them. An arhat Thero did that.
So Naga world's King, Queen and they younger princess came to human world and they attacked the King with all the measures.

● King Dutugemunu lived a good life. He helped his people and all. So we believe he is a Divine God and will be the son of next Lord Buddha.
